My heart is broken over Joan’s death-almost like losing my mom all over again. Memories of Joanie, Paul and David go back into my earliest childhood, continue through years of Notre Dame, on into high school and right into the weeks before her death. Joan and my mom Milly were cut from the same cloth and got along famously. Two outspoken, take charge , brash old broads with hearts of gold. Joan was one of my role models , and I am forever grateful I had her in my life. I loved her, and I miss her.
Hugs and love to all the Blanchettes, but an extra dose of love for my first boyfriend David.
