DALTON, Mass. – Rylan Padelford scored nine goals on Thursday to lead the Wahconah boys lacrosse team to a 17-7 win over East Longmeadow in the semi-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class B tournament.

 

Bryce Smith stopped 10 shots to earn the win in goal.

 

The three-time defending regional champions got four goals from Luciano Canino and two apiece from Zachary Flaherty and Devin Lagerwall.

 

Jon Howard set up four goals, and Brody Calvert finished with three assists.

 

Wahconah (15-1) takes a 14-game winning streak into next Wednesday’s regional final at Springfield Central High School.

 

It will meet the winner of Friday’s semi-final between top-seeded Pope Francis and South Hadley.
