SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- The Mount Everett softball team Thursday exploded for eight runs in the fourth inning en route to a 12-0 win over Monument Mountain.
Sarah Beckwith doubled, and Madison Ullrich tripled back-to-back to kick start the rally, which also saw Devan Galli hit a two-run double.
Chandler DeGrenier and Faith Angell split time on the mound. DeGrenier struck out seven in four innings of work.
Mount Everett (15-2) goes to Hoosac Valley on Tuesday.
Monument Mountain (2-10) hosts Lenox on Tuesday.
