The 25-year-old grocery chain is rebranding all of its Massachusetts locations with a goal of an improved customer experience.
The strike lasted 11 days before a breakthrough in talks occurred late Easter Sunday. Membership will still have to vote on the contract for the protest to officially end.
The union local representing some 2,000 area Stop & Shop workers voted Sunday afternoon to authorize a strike.
The announcement was met with applause as Adam's Hometown Market informed the Board of Selectmen on Wednesday that it expected to add the location to its 15-market chain on Monday.
