DownStreet Art returns to downtown North Adams from 5-8 p.m. on Aug. 29. As always, DownStreet Art is free and open to the public.
This Saturday's Cruz Night will have a historical twist to mark the town's 225th anniversary: a Civil War re-enactment encampment on the grounds of Cheshire School.
Since July 2015, the community group has held two block parties each summer in what is considered the small town's downtown area around Town Hall. The block parties feature food vendors, live music, crafters and other activities.
