NEW LEBANON, N.Y. -- Alex Sotek won a pair of races, and Allison Slater broke a New Lebanon High School record in helping the girls swim team to an 89-69 win over Taconic Hills on Friday.
Sotek won the 200-yard individual medley in 2 minutes, 24.43 seconds and the 100 butterfly in 1:07.49.
Elizabeth Hunt won the 100 breaststroke in 1:31.61.
Slater finished the 500 freestyle in 5:58.44 to place second behind Taconic Hills' Emma Avenia, who set her school record in 5:56.86.
Avenia also broke Taconic Hills' mark in the 200 free, finishing first in 2:11.03.
Taconic Hills' boys topped the Tigers, 77-54.
Neil Howard won the 50 free in 23.57 and the 100 back in 1:16.08 for Taconic Hills.
Liam Buckenroth was a double-winner for the Tigers, taking the 200 IM (2:41.88) and 500 free (6:33.91).
