Southern Berkshire Annual Brochure Photo Contest

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — The Southern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce is asking photographers, amateur and professional, to submit an image or images that represent enjoying the Southern Berkshires.
 
The winning photos will appear on the cover of our magazine-size publication that is distributed throughout the Berkshires all year.
 
?Subjects could include nature and animals, outdoor recreation, agriculture, food, arts & culture, shopping and more.
 
As in past years, a photo entry cannot contain any distinguishable advertising or business entity.
 
There is no limit on the number of entries per person.
 
Winners will be selected via an anonymous vote by our Membership & PR Committee.
 
The winning photos will be featured on the cover of the 2026-27 Southern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce brochure with credit to the photographers inside. Any submitted photos might be used elsewhere in the brochure, on our website or in our Chamber promotional materials.?
 
The images must be high resolution (300 dpi or greater) and submitted digitally to office.sberkchamber@gmail.com by the end of the day on Monday, March 16, 2026.

Berkshire Bounty Sets Pickleball Fund-Raiser

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- It’s back: the third annual Fun(D)raising Pickleball Tournament for the benefit of Berkshire Bounty.
 
Pickleball players are invited to rally against food insecurity at this fun and friendly benefit fo Berkshire Bounty, a Great Barrington-based non-profit organization with the mission to creatively advance community food security through food rescue and delivery.
 
Registration is open through Sept. 18th with the tournament taking place, rain or shine, on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Bousquet Sport Club in Pittsfield.
 
Berkshire Bounty co-founders Mark Lefenfeld and Jay Weintraub expressed their gratitude to the community in a news release announcing the tournament.
 
Teams of two may register in either the Beginner/Intermediate or Intermediate/Advanced Divisions. Entry Fee is $120 per team, with all proceeds going to Berkshire Bounty. 
 
Current event sponsors include the Gilson Family Foundation, Osteo Strong, Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, Lance Vermeulen Real Estate, Berkshire Money Management, Beacon Bank, Ethan Kelpetar Law Firm, and October Mountain Financial Advisors.
