Verna H. Cribari, 90
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Verna Helen Cribari, 90, of 2 Spencer Road, formerly of Pines Lodge Park in Williamstown, died peacefully on Friday, June 18, 2014.Born in Brockton on Dec. 6, 1923, daughter of Leo J. and Emily Fournier Lamore, her family later moved to North Adams, where she attended the former Notre Dame Elementary School and graduated from Drury High School in 1942.
Mrs. Cribari was employed at the former Sprague Electric Co. on Brown Street for many years.
Her husband of 64 years, William A. Cribari Sr., whom she married on May 18, 1946, in the former St. Francis of Assisi Church, died in 2011.
She leaves her son, William A. Cribari Jr. and his companion, Nancy Walker, with whom she made her home; a daughter, Donna Marie Slowick of the state of Florida; her brother, Leo Lamore of North Adams, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her brothers Richard Lamore and Robert Lamore, and her sister-in-law Jean Lamore predeceased her.
FUNERAL NOTICE - Private graveside services for Mrs. Cribari were held at her request at Southview Cemetery for family members only on July 24, 2014.
Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals was in charge of arrangements.
