Theresa M. Blay, 73
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Theresa Mary Blay, 73, of 1608 Massachusetts Ave. died Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in Adams on Dec. 13, 1940, a daughter of Napoleon and Genevieve Luczynski Levesque, she attended schools in Adams.
Mrs. Blay was last employed at the Four Acres Motel in Williamstown. She had previously worked at the former Sprague Electric and X-Tyal companies and at the former Willowood Nursing Home.
She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church.
She and her husband, Arthur G. Blay, were married July 1, 1961, in the former Notre Dame Church in North Adams.
Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Lisa Ruberto and her husband, Leo, of Dalton; two sons, Robert A. Blay and Michael T. Blay, both of North Adams; three sisters, Eleanor Benoit of North Adams, Irene Lappies of Adams and Jeannette Collins of Williamstown; and two brothers, Richard Levesque and Clarence Levesque, both of North Adams.
She was predeceased by two sisters and four brothers: Bernadette Goff, Shirley Andzejewski and Bernard, Ernest, Daniel and Leonard Levesque.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Blay will take place Saturday, June 8, at 9 a.m. from St. Elizabeth Church in North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Friday, June 7, from 5 to 7 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St. Memorial donations are suggested for the Village ambulance Service through the funeral home.
