Lucille Braman, 76
STAMFORD, Vt. — Lucille Braman, 76, of 954 Jepson Road died Thursday, April 10, 2014, at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in North Adams, Mass., on May 29, 1937, daughter of Alfred and Grace Stebbins Lefaver, she attended schools in Stamford and graduated from Drury High School in North Adams.
Mrs. Braman was employed by A. Shapiro & Sons in North Adams for many years until her retirement.
She attended the Stamford Community Church and was a member of the VFW Post 996 Ladies' Auxiliary in North Adams. She enjoyed bowling, bingo and trips to Foxwoods.
Her husband, Leo Lewis Braman, whom she married on July 26, 1959, died Oct. 13, 2012.
She leaves three sons, Brent "Mike" Braman of North Adams, Kent Braman and his wife, Cathy, of Clarksburg, Mass., and Mark Braman of Readsboro; two sisters, Sybil Roy of South Hadley, Mass., and Sally Bohl of Stamford; a brother, Robert Lefaver of York Beach, Maine; four grandchildren, Brent Richard Braman, Bonnie Kaye Braman, Nathan William Braman, and Dane Mitchell Braman; four great-grandchildren, Aidan, Lucas, Lilly and Colton, and nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Braman will be Monday, April 14, at 11 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. A reception will follow the burial at the North Adams VFW. Memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in care of the funeral home.
