Florence A. Longstaff, 84
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Florence Alice Longstaff, 84, formerly of North Adams, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014, at Craneville Place in Dalton.
Born in North Adams on Nov. 29, 1929, a daughter of Leon and Elizabeth Vokey Beckwith, she attended schools in Adams and North Adams, graduating from Drury High School.
Mrs. Longstaff was last employed by the former Lamb Printing Co.
She spent winters in Florida and camped in the North Adams area during the summer. She attended Blackinton Union Church.
Her husband, Harold Longstaff, is deceased.
She leaves her sister, Phyllis Roy of Chelmsford, and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and great-grandnieces and -nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister Elizabeth Horsfall and three brothers, Edward, Leon and Donald Beckwith.
FUNERAL NOTICE - A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Longstaff will be held on Friday, Nov. 7, at 11 a.m. at Blackinton Union Church on Massachusetts Avenue. Burial will follow in the Southview Cemetery.
