Mary F. Hardy, 80
POWNAL, Vt. — Mary F. Kohler Smart Hardy, 80, of 251 Montgomery Road died Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington.
Born in Williamstown, Mass., on Sept. 5, 1934, a daughter of Samuel F. and Frances Pratt Larabee, she attended schools in Williamstown.
Mrs. Hardy was a devoted homemaker and loved cats.
She was predeceased by her three husbands Gustave Kohler, William Smart and Ernest Hardy.
She leaves her daughter Mary Kohler of Woodford; her son, William H. King Jr. of Joplin, Mo.; and two brothers, David Larabee and Richard Larabee, both of Williamstown.
She was predeceased by a sister, Rose Maynard, and her brother Edward "Junior" Larabee.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mrs. Hardy will take place Thursday, July 9, at 10 a.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, Mass. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Pownal.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 8, from 5 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested for the Second Chance Animal Shelter (Bennington County Humane Society) through the funeral home.
