Rose M. Maynard, 65
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Rose Marie Maynard, 65, of 79 Henderson Road died Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, at her home, where she was born on Sept. 2, 1946.
Daughter of Samuel Franklin and Frances May Pratt Larabee, she attended schools in Williamstown.
Mrs. Larabee was employed at the Maple Terrace Motel. She also had worked at the former Zayres Department Store in North Adams and the Williams Inn, and was an Avon representative.
She was a volunteer at the Friendship Food Center in North Adams, enjoyed going fishing and loved all animals. She also was an accomplished crafter. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends and her loving grandchildren.
She and her husband, Paul J. Maynard, were she married Feb. 18, 1967 in Clarksburg.
Besides her husband of 45 years, she leaves a son, Robert E. Maynard and his wif,e Tracy, of Clarksburg; a daughter, Pamela Maynard Morin of North Adams; a sister, Mary Hardy of Pownal, Vt.; two brothers, David Larabee and Richard Larabee of Williamstown; six grandchildren, Whitney, Kyle, Travis, Marissa Marie, Butch and Tabetha, and nieces and nephews.
Her brother Edward F. "Junior" Larabee died May 3, 2009.
FUNERAL NOTICE - Funeral services for Mrs. Maynard will take place Thursday, Feb. 23, at 11 from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested for the VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire through the funeral home.
