Alfred R. Boulerice, 88
ADAMS, Mass. — Alfred Raymond Boulerice, 88, of 1 Pinnacle Lane died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in North Adams on Nov. 12, 1913, son of Rosario and Rose Alma Bleau Boulerice, he moved to Adams as a child with his family and attended schools there.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Boulerice was employed for more than 30 years as a furnace operator with GE in Pittsfield, retiring in 1975.
He was a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame-St. Thomas and a member of Frank R. Stiles Post 125 American Legion in North Adams, Disabled American Veterans and the Adams Senior Citizens.
He and his wife, the former Irene M. Lescarbeau, would have celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary Nov. 30.
Besides his wife, he leaves five daughters, Leona Lincoln, Shirley Falbo, Alice Tomasini and Helen Leavens, all of Adams, and Rose James of Westport; a brother, Delphis Boulerice of Dayton, Ohio; 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son, Joseph Dupre; four sisters, Viola Hoose, Marguerite Gajda, Alma Jennings and Elizabeth Boulerice, and a brother, Harvey Boulerice.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mr. Boulerice will be Wednesday at 9 from AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 at Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, Adams, by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Parish of Notre Dame-St. Thomas.
Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 4 to 7. Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Association through the funeral home.
