Irene M. Boulerice, 87
ADAMS, Mass. - Irene Mary Boulerice, 87, of 1 Pinnacle Lane died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003, at Williamstown Commons, where she was admitted Tuesday.
Born in North Adams on March 9, 1916, daughter of Wilfred and Elodie Roy Lescarbeau, she attended North Adams schools. She had lived in Adams since 1946.
Mrs. Boulerice last worked at General Electric Co. in Pittsfield for several years, until retiring many years ago. Earlier, she had worked at Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams.
She was a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame and St. Thomas Aquinas and was a member of the Adams Senior Citizens.
Her husband, Alfred R. Boulerice, whom she married Nov. 30, 1946, died Sept. 29, 2002.
She leaves five daughters, Leona Lincoln of Winchester, N.H., Shirley Falbo, Alice Tomasini and Helen Leavens, all of Adams, and Rose James of Westport; two brothers, Edward Lescarbeau and Stanley Lescarbeau, both of Clarksburg; a sister, Rita DeMarsico of North Adams; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Joseph Dupre, and her siblings George Scarbo and Alice Lescarbeau
FUNERAL NOTICE - The funeral for Mrs. Boulerice will be held on Monday, Sept. 22, at 9:15 a.m. from AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, Adams, celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Parishes of Notre Dame and St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Stanislaus Kostka, Adams.
Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation through the funeral home.
