Lucille LaBombard, 83

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Lucille LaBombard, 83, of 46 Washington Ave. died Sunday, July 17, 2005, at North Adams Commons. Born in North Adams on Nov. 10, 1921, daughter of Ernest W. and Lillian LaGess Foote, she attended local schools. Mrs. LaBombard was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. for many years, retiring in 1983. She was a communicant of St. Francis' Church and volunteered at all of its bazaars. She was a member of several dancing clubs, including the All State Cloggers, Berkshire County Line Dancers and the Hairpin Turners Square Dancing Club. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved her family. Her husband, Lawrence W. LaBombard, whom she married in October 1956, died June 20, 2002. She leaves two daughters, Jane K. Perras and her husband, Edmond, and Susan L. Bean and her husband, Robert, all of North Adams; a son, James M. Petrovice and his wife, Vicki, of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Evelyn Krzeminski of Adams and Jeannette Rondeau of Readsboro, Vt.; eight grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Another daughter, Betty Marony, died in June 1996. She also was predeceased by four brothers, William, Ernest, Joseph "Harry" and Bernard Foote, and a sister, Blanche LaGess. FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Lucille LaBombard will be celebrated tomorrow, July 19, 2005, at 11 at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, will be tomorrow morning from 9:30 to 10:30.
