Kenneth Demers
ADAMS, Mass. — Kenneth Demers, 38, of 92 Summer St. died early Friday morning, Sept. 23, 2005, at North Adams Regional Hospital after being stricken at home.
Born in Adams on May 18, 1967, son of Russell E. Demers of Adams and BettyLee Jones Belleau of East Nassau, N.Y., he attended schools in Adams.
Mr. Demers was a self-employed painter for most of his life.
He was a communicant of Notre Dame St. Thomas Church. He enjoyed fishing and camping.
Besides his father and his mother, he leaves a stepfather, Ernest Belleau, also of East Nassau; Kari Jean Olson of Adams; a brother, John Belleau of Adams; three sisters, Julie Belleau of Schenectady, N.Y., Laura McKenzie of Springfield and Barbara Demers of Cheshire, and his paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Grande of North Adams.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Linda Demers and Karen Demers.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A graveside service for Mr. Demers will be private.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, Sept. 27, from 5 to 8 at TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St. Memorial donations may be made to the Kari Jean Olson Trust Fund through the funeral home.
