Pearl L. Pfister, 73

CHESHIRE, Mass. — Pearl Lila Pfister, 73, of 15 Jenks Road died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born in North Adams on June 18, 1932, daughter of Richard L. and Florence LaFountain Briggs, she attended schools there. Mrs. Pfister was employed by the former Waverly Fabrics in Adams. Before that, she worked at the former Berkshire Coat Factory in Pittsfield and at the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates in Adams. She was a communicant of the Parishes of Notre Dame-St. Thomas in Adams. She and her husband, William J. Pfister, were married June 19, 1951. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Susan A. Berry and her husband, G. Flint Berry, of Hatfield; three brothers, Charles L. Briggs and Raymond Briggs, both of the town of Florida, and Bradley Briggs of Hinsdale; a sister, Phoebe Pelkey of Easthampton, and nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Pfister will be Wednesday, Feb. 15, at noon at AUGE-SANS SOUCIE-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, followed by burial in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 10 to noon at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Cheshire Fire Department through the funeral home, 46 North Church St., North Adams, MA 01247.
