NORTH ADAMS, Mass. â€' Donald Rene Cote, 48, of 74 Veazie St. died Saturday, May 1, 2010, at home.
Born in North Adams on Dec. 23, 1961, son of Edward L. Cote of the town of Florida and the late Joyce Burdick Cote, he graduated from McCann Technical School in 1980.
Mr. Cote worked in construction with Union Local 473 Laborers International.
He enjoyed camping and woodworking, and his dog Cheech, who was his baby.
Besides his father, he leaves his wife, the former Annette Dubreuil, whom he married on Sept. 15, 1984; two daughters, Shannon Cote and Dianne Cote, both of North Adams; a son, Edward Cote of North Adams; a sister, Debra J. Sarkis of Rutherfordton, N.C.; four brothers, Kenneth Cote of Alaska, Russell Cote of North Adams and Lawrence Cote and James Cote, both of Florida, five grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers Leonard Cote and Timothy Cote.
FUNERAL NOTICE â€' A memorial service for Mr. Cote will be held Wednesday, May 5, at 11 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.
