Victoria M. LaCasse, 36

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Victoria M. LaCasse, 36, of 11 Hoosac St. died Sunday, July 18, 2010, at Children's Hospital in Boston. Born in North Adams on May 6, 1974, a daughter of Donald Sheldon and the late Ann Labonte Sheldon, she graduated from McCann Technical School with the class of 1992. Mrs. LaCasse was employed as a teacher's assistant at the former Conte Middle School and, previously, at the North Adams Transcript. She also was an Avon saleswoman. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church and a member of the North Adams Elks Lodge. She enjoyed popcorn and playing bingo, and loved her four cats Brain, Pinky, Sugar and Bellasue. Besides her father and stepmother, Joyce Sheldon, of North Adams, she leaves her husband, Michael LaCasse, whom she married May 23, 1997; a daughter, Samantha Davignon of North Adams; a stepsister, Lori Cote, and aunts, uncles and cousins. FUNERAL NOTICE - A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. LaCasse will take place Monday, July 26, at 11 at St. Elizabeth Church in North Adams; those attending are asked to meet at the church Monday morning. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 7 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Memorial donations are suggested for Children's Hospital or the Berkshire Humane Society through the funeral home.
