Joyce C. Sheldon, 67

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Joyce Carol Sheldon, 67, of 176 Mohawk Forest Blvd. died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

Born in Utica, N.Y., on June 14, 1945, a daughter of Reuben Dorrough and Minnie Gibson Dorrough Lewis, and the stepdaughter of Charles Lewis, she attended schools in Adams including the the former Adams High School.

Mrs. Sheldon was last employed at the former Arnold Print Works.

She was a member of the Eagles in North Adams.

She leaves her husband, Donald H. Sheldon; a daughter, Lori Therrien Cote and her husband, Lawrence, of the town of Florida; two sisters, Sandra Wimmer of Hoosick Falls, N.Y., and Barbara Leja of North Adams; three grandchildren, Brenda, Robert and Jesse Cote and a great-grandson, Jason J. Vigiard.

She was predeceased by five brothers, two sisters, and her stepdaughter, Victoria Sheldon LaCasse.

FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mrs. Sheldon will take place on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 5 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams.

Calling hours will be from 2 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
