Foster C. Jones, 51
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Foster C. Jones, 51, of 629 Daniels Road, died Sunday, May 8, 2011, at his home.
Born in Adams on Oct. 15, 1959, son of Alden S. Jones Jr. and of Patricia Mahar Jones, he attended Clarksburg schools and Drury High School in North Adams.
He served in the Massachusetts National Guard.
Mr. Jones was last employed by Scarafoni Realty Co.
He attended St. John's Episcopal Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and four-wheeling and, especially, spending time with his granddaughter.
He leaves his wife, the former Irene L. Fachini, whom he married on Aug. 23, 1991; a daughter, Heather Fachini of North Adams; a son, Senior Airman Aaron J. Fachini, stationed in Osan, Korea; a brother, Ronny Jones of North Adams; a sister, Jean Harris of Defuniak Springs, Fla., a granddaughter, Kaley Bachand of North Adams, and nieces and nephews.
His brother Alden S. Jones III died April 11 and a sister, Bonnie Reynolds, on Feb. 12.
FUNERAL NOTICE - The funeral for Mr. Jones will be held Thursday, May 12, at 7 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will be private.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.
