NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – It was Senior Day for the Drury girls soccer team on Friday, but ninth grader Megan McGrath did her best to steal the show.

Playing just the second game of her varsity career after rehabbing from an injury, McGrath had a natural hat trick in the first half of Drury’s 6-0 win over Lee.

Madison Saunders, Hannah Lacasse and Alyssa Russell each scored a goal, and Brooke Bishop and Ari Rivard combined to make three saves to earn the shutout win in goal.

“Before the game we honored our three graduating seniors, Alyssa Russell, Maddie Houghtaling, and Rylee Joy,” Drury coach Maria Bartini said. “All three have been key players in our program and will be missed next year. Rylee and Maddie have been huge reasons our defense is solid and Alyssa keeps us well-organized in the midfield by starting so many of our attacks.”

Bella Lovato made eight saves for Lee.

Drury (14-1-1) learns Monday its first round opponent in the Western Massachusetts tournament.
