SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Hudah Ngoy Nkulu scored with 10 seconds left in the first half, and Emma Goewey made 13 saves to make the lead stand up as the Mount Everett girls soccer team beat Mount Greylock, 1-0, on Sunday.

Mount Everett coach Joshua King said he was proud of his team for playing a complete game on Senior Day in Sheffield.

"Mount Greylock is an extremely skilled team and played majority of the game in our end, but right before half there was a loose ball that found Hudah in the middle of the box and she buried it home with her left foot," King said.

Mount Greylock used two keepers -- Delaney Babcock, who subbed into the field in the first half, and Briana Dowling. They combined to make four saves.

Mount Everett (1-3) goes to Berkshire Community College on Monday to play Taconic.

Mount Greylock (7-3) will look to snap a two-game skid on Tuesday at home against Pittsfield.
