LENOX, Mass. – Aliza Munch scored in the first five minutes and finished with a pair of goals to lead the Lenox girls soccer team to a 3-0 win over Southwick on Friday.

Medeja Rudzinskaite had a goal and an assist, and Hailey Tobler set up a goal for Lenox, which lost, 1-0, to Southwick earlier this season.

“Lenox came out fast and hard with Aliza Munch dribbling through players to score in the first five minutes,” Lenox coach Brian Seminara said. “After that, much of the possession was kept by Lenox and they got two more with time running out in the first half. As the second half went on, Southwick applied more and more pressure, but Savannah Reber and the Lenox defense held strong to seal the shutout.”

Ella Hall made nine stops to earn that shutout win in goal.

Lenox is 4-6-1 and has won three of its last four going into Saturday evening’s home match against Mount Everett.
