DALTON, Mass. – James Rabuse struck out six in five innings to earn the win on the mound and helped his cause with a pair of doubles at the plate on Monday as the Wahconah baseball team beat Greenfield, 6-5.

Wahconah went to the bottom of the fourth inning down, 3-1, but exploded for five runs to take the lead for good on Senior Day.

Rabuse doubled in Matt Kinzer during the rally, which also saw Lucas Wildrick, Ethan Orsini, Kinzer and Ryan Marauszwski each drive in a run.

Kinzer finished the day 2-for-4 with a double in Wahconah’s 10-hit attack.

On the hill, Rabuse allowed three earned runs in five innings before giving the ball to Colby Robb, who struck out a pair and allowed one run in two innings of work to pick up the save.

Wahconah (12-5) finishes the regular season Tuesday at home against Drury.
