WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Sarah Polumbo scored goals Monday to lead the Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team to a 15-4 win over South Hadley.

Lexi Politis and Ainsley Abel each had a hat trick, and Politis finished with four assists.

Christy Rech and Tiegan Brady split time in goal, combining to make four saves.

“Our defense, led by junior Abaigeal Fuls, is starting to jell and trust each other more while improving our approaches and constantly being able to force angels,” Mount Greylock coach Jeff Stripp said.

Fuls caused three turnovers, scooped two ground balls and made a pair of interceptions.

Mount Greylock (8-1) hosts Burr and Burton of Manchester, Vt., on Friday.
