NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Hannah Tatro went 4-for-5 with four RBIs on Friday to lead the McCann Tech softball team to a 19-7 win over Ware.

Shaylee Lawson finished 3-for-4 at the plate. Aiden Champney was 2-for-2, and Emily Glasier was 2-for-4 with four runs batted in.

Tatro went the distance in the circle, allowing four earned runs.

The Hornets committed three errors in the first two innings, when Ware scored six of their runs.

“A little disappointed we came out flat but it is to be expected playing our fourth game in a row,” McCann Tech coach Robin Finnegan said. “We settled down in the third, and the bats came alive.”

The Hornets (5-5) host Southwick on Tuesday.
