Wilson No-Hitter Lifts Wahocnah in D4 State Tourney

DALTON, Mass. – Casey Wilson pitched a no-hitter, and Elena Iovieno and Taylar Hickey each homered Monday to lead the Wahconah softball team to an 8-0 win over Littleton in the Division 4 State Tournament Round of 32.

 

Iovieno went 2-for-3, and Casey Wilson was 3-for-3 with a triple.

 

Wilson struck out six and walked just one, with two out in the top of the fifth with Wahconah up, 7-0.

 

Twelvth-seeded Wahconah (10-11) goes on the road on Wednesday to take on No. 5 Archbishop Williams (18-5), a 2-0 winner over Blackstone-Millville on Monday.
