Taconic Boys Shut Down Hoosac, Get 10th Win

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- The Taconic boys basketball team held Hoosac Valley to a season-low offensive output and handed the Hurricanes their third straight loss, a 55-34 decision, on Tuesday night.
 
Isaac Percey scored a game-high 23, and Javier Osorio added a dozen points for Taconic, which got nine from Jaydan Cross.
 
Hoosac Valley got seven points apiece from Matthew Hall and Joe DelMolino. Hoosac Valley’s previous low output on offense this season came in a 64-41 loss on Saturday.
 
The Hurricanes (8-6) will look to get back in the win column on Friday at Pittsfield.
 
Taconic (10-5), which has allowed its last three Berkshire County North foes an average of 32 points per game goes to Drury on Tuesday.
