Mounties Rally in Fourth to Beat Athol

ATHOL, Mass. – Chase Doyle and Seamus Barnes took over the game in the fourth quarter Tuesday to lead the Mount Greylock boys basketball team to a 66-51 win over Athol.
 
The Mounties and Bears went to the final period tied, 42-42.
 
But Barnes scored 11 of his 17 points, and Doyle scored 10 of his 22 in the final eight minutes.
 
Max McAlister scored 10 points in the win, hitting three of Mount Greylock’s six 3-pointers.
 
The Mounties (5-4) takes a three-game winning streak into Thursday’s home game against Lenox.
