Berkshire Aviation Enterprises has operated the airport since 1944, providing charter flights, maintenance, flight instruction and scenic flights. It is home to both private and business-owned general aviation aircraft.

Berkshire Aviation Enterprises has been training aviators for over 65 years at Great Barrington Airport.
