In the second inning, the Generals took a 1-0 lead when MacDonald reached on a fielder’s error by South Hadley and advanced to third and home on a wild pitch and steal.

MacDonald finished the game with two stolen bases.

Pittsfield’s productivity was off errors on the Tigers as well as an RBI single by Kamryn Renata in the fourth.

Pou had five strikeouts looking during the first four innings and finished with 10 strikeouts and no walks in the game.

Hitting was not very strong for either team during the entirety of the game.

The Tigers had a small rally start in the first, when Ara Powers smacked a ball to the gap which led to multiple throwing errors.

This did not help the Tigers score as they lined out to center field.
