The Northern Berkshire Santa Fund is joining a collaborative effort spearheaded by Northern Berkshire United Way to bring together several of North County's largest holiday gift-giving programs under one unbrella.
The purpose of this collaboration is to eventually create one point of signup, administration and access.
Three hundred families will spend Christmas warm, fed, and the children will have presents to open because of the help from the Salvation Army and Christian Center.
On Tuesday, the two organizations joined by volunteers from Berkshire Bank began distributing all the Christmas needs to those who signed up for the program.
