Community Development Board Signs Off On Pittsfield Company Expansion

The Community Development Board on Tuesday gave its OK for an expansion to the Pittsfield Plastics Engineering Inc. property on West Housatonic Street. Jeffrey Randall of Hill Engineers said the expansion includes two buildings, one for manufacturing space and the other for a warehouse. A total of 9,000 square feet will be added to rear of the property for the storage space while 3,600 square feet will be added out front for manufacturing.
