The City Council on Tuesday re-elected Benjamin Lamb as president and Nancy Bullett as vice president during the annual organization of government.
The meeting lasted almost a half-hour and dealt with a light agenda of approvals, including a first reading on revised compensation plans for firefighters and part-time employees.
During a brief meeting on Wednesday, the newly reorganized Board of Selectmen elected Jeffrey Snoonian as the new chairman and took care of some housekeeping issues.
The board also ratified the popular townwide tag sale, which the town will take over now that the event committee has disbanded.
The School Committee will continue with the same leadership.
The committee picked Katherine Yon to continue as the chair and Daniel Elias as vice chairman. Both served in those roles during the last two years.
