Bard College at Simon's Rock to Screen '20 Days in Mariupol'

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass.—Bard College at Simon's Rock will screen "20 Days in Mariupol" on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 7:00 p.m. in the Clarke Auditorium in the Fisher Science and Academic Center.
 
This initiative is made possible by a partnership between PBS | Frontline and Razom for Ukraine and is open to students based at U.S. universities and colleges. For the first time in Ukrainian cinematic history, a Ukraine-made film has secured a sport among the Academy Award Nominees. 
 
According to a press release, the goal of this initiative is to spread the important message of the documentary as well as engage universities, bring agency to the student body to make an impact, and build a pathway for future Ukrainian films to reach a wide audience in different institutions.
 
This event is open to the public and is free to attend.

Stockbridge Grange Community Dinner

STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. — Stockbridge Grange is hosting a community dinner on Sunday, May 19, 2024. 
 
The menu includes roast pork, mashed potatoes, and vegetables, with dessert options of chocolate cream or lemon meringue pie. 
 
Dinner is $15.00 per person, take out only with 12-1:30 pm pick up at the Stockbridge Grange Hall at 51 Church Street, Stockbridge, MA.  Orders may be made by calling 413-243-1298 or 413-443-4352. 
 
Grange Community Dinners are designed to raise money for non-profit projects and building maintenance.
