Marchetti Campaign Plans Pancake Fundraiser

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The public is invited to attend a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser for mayoral candidate Peter Marchetti to be held on Sunday, Oct. 30, from 9 to noon at the Polish Community Club on Linden Street.

Cost for the breakfast is a $7 donation. Kids eat free. Tickets may be purchased at the door, or reserved by calling 413443-1411.

Marchetti is currently in his eighth year on the Pittsfield City Council. He is the vice president, chairman of the council subcommittee on Finance and vice chairman of the Community and Economic Development subcommittee, and serves on the Public Health and Safety Council and as council representative to the Conservation Commission.

Marchetti's five-point plan for Pittsfield includes job creation, education, the arts, neighborhoods, and improved communication. He says he wants to see us write the next chapter in our history by building on the successes of the past and growing optimistically into the future. 

He has always been very active in the community, serving with the Morningside Initiative, the board of PCTV, state youth and adult bowling leagues, the Helen Berube Teen Parent Program, the Pittsfield Parade Committee, and many others.

Council Candidate Bullett Sets Meet & Greet

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — City Council candidate Nancy Bullett will host a meet and greet reception on Sunday, Oct. 16, from 1 to 7 at the Greylock Community Club on State Road.

Bullett, who is running for council for the first time, invites the public to come speak with her.

The afternoon will include hamburgers, hot dogs and chili, volleyball, horseshoes and dancing. Tickets are $10 or $8 for seniors and children.

Pittsfield Ward 5 Candidate Lothrop Sets Dinner Fundraiser

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Jonathan Lothrop, Ward 5 city councilor, will host a campaign fundraiser this Thursday, Oct. 13, at the American Legion on 41 Wendell Ave. from 5 to 7 p.m.

Lothrop is seeking a fifth term as the council representative of the southwest Pittsfield district.

The event will feature a pasta dinner with homemade desserts. A cash bar will be available. A contribution of $20 at the door is suggested; children 12 and younger are welcome for free. Checks may be made out to Citizens to Elect Jonathan Lothrop.

Marchetti Campaign Sets Pasta Dinner Fundraiser

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The public is invited to attend a pasta dinner fundraiser to benefit the Committee to Elect Peter Marchetti Mayor on Friday, Aug. 26, from 5 to 8 at the Polish Falcon Club, 32 Belair Ave.

Cost is a $15 donation. Tickets may be purchased at the door, or reserved by calling 413-443-1411.

Peter Marchetti is a candidate for mayor. He is currently in his eighth year as on the Pittsfield City Council and as its vice president. He is chairman the council's Finance Subcommittee, serves on Public Health and Safety Subcommittee and is vice chairman of the Community and Economic Development Subcommittee. In addition he serves as the council representative on the Conservation Commission.

Marchetti is very active in the community, serving with the Morningside Initiative, on the board of directors of Pittsfield TV, state Youth and Adult Bowling leagues, the Helen Berube Teen Parent Program, Pittsfield Parade Committee, and many others.

Bissaillon Campaign Hosts Pancake Breakfast

ADAMS, Mass. — The Bissaillon Committee is hosting a pancake breakfast on Sunday, June 6, from 8 to noon at the Adams Elks Lodge, 63 Center St.

The event provides an opportunity to meet David Bissaillon, the candidate running for state representative, 1st Berkshire District, or for people who already know him to learn more about why Bissaillon seeks to represent the district at the State House.

"I hope to see new friends and old at this event, so I can hear about the state legislative issues that matter to you," Bissaillon said.

Bissaillon, a vice president at Coakley, Pierpan, Dolan & Collins Insurance Agency and former president of the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce, has a long history of community service.

He seeks to convert his professional and community experience to public service by representing the residents of the 11 communities that comprise the 1st Berkshire District. The district consists of Adams, Clarksburg, Florida, North Adams, Savoy and Williamstown, all in Berkshire Couunty, and Charlemont, Hawley, Heath, Monroe and Rowe in Franklin County.

Tickets are $5 for adults; $4 for seniors; and $3 for kids under 12. You may purchase tickets in advance at Creations and Shima in North Adams and Smith Brothers-McAndrews Insurance Agency Inc. in Adams. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
