Aug. 29 Mill City Auditions

North Adams â€“ The Mill City Productions theater company will host auditions at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29 at the St. Johnâ€™s Episcopal Church parish hall at 59 Summer St. for itâ€™s upcoming performance of â€œHonk! The Musical.â€

Children aged 7 and older are encouraged to audition for acting roles that may include singing and dancing. The theater company is also seeking people interested in building stage sets or volunteering as backstage assistants.

The performance is scheduled for the first two weeks of November.

Mill City Productions is a non-profit, community-based, multi-generational collaborative focused on creating an outlet for the expression and education of theater. The goal is to create a theatrical troupe that will serve the Northern Berkshire community with theater that is entertaining and accessible to those with limited theater experience. Mill City Productions plans to offer theatrical education to individuals, organizations, and schools.
The production company mission is to provide an opportunity for persons of all levels of ability and experience to learn, teach, practice and perform dramatic art in a supportive and nurturing environment.
