Berkshire Business Breakfast Forum

12:00AM / Monday, September 26, 2005

The Berkshire Business Information Center and Berkshire Enterprises kick off the fifth year of free business breakfast forums on Fri., Oct. 7 at 7:30 a.m. with “A Small Business Guide to Human Resources and Effective Workforce Management.”

The forum will be led by Geoffrey Dubiski. As director of operations for Yoh Company, Dubiski manages a staff of 82 direct and 2200 contracted employees. The forum will focus on hiring, firing, and performance management. It will cover the legal and personal side of employee relations, as well as information that will help businesses with employees and those thinking about hiring some.

The forum will be held at One Fenn Street at the third floor Board Room. The event is free and a continental breakfast will be served. Space is limited and reservations are required.

The forum is designed for small business owners and managers. It is a place for owners to meet and gain information vital to their businesses.

Bellisimo Dolce of Pittsfield will provide pastries. All activities of the Berkshire Business Information Center, including the breakfasts, are funded by contributions from TD Banknorth, Berkshire Bank, Legacy Banks, Pittsfield Co-op Bank, Greylock Federal Credit Union, and the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce.
