These tours do not take place at the Museum. Tour groups will meet on Main Street. Transportation to Main Street from the Museum is not provided.
Take a guided walking tour of downtown Stockbridge and discover how the town and its inhabitants both inspired Norman Rockwell and appeared in some of his most iconic works of art. Explore the history of this 1734 village–including its Mohican origins.
Stops will include Norman Rockwell’s home on South Street, his first studio on Main Street, the Old Corner House (site of the original Norman Rockwell Museum), Chief John Konkapot’s property, the Red Lion Inn, the former site of Alice’s Restaurant, and more!
Limited capacity- advance reservations required. Event is rain or shine.
Meet in front of The Old Corner House, 48 Main Street; public on street parking, or designated spaces at Town Hall. Tour route is mostly flat, and on sidewalks.

STORYTIME WITH STAY & PLAY

Becket, 10:30 a.m. to noon
Becket Athenaeum hosts a storytime from 10:30 to 11 followed by an hour of stay and play with toys, games, puzzles, and snacks for the kids, along with coffee, tea, snacks, and time for connection for the caregivers. Stop by for either or both.

HOTCHKISS SUMMER PIANO PORTALS CONCERT SERIES - THE FRANK GALA CONCERT

A highlight of the Summer Portals Piano Concert Series, The Frank Gala Concert brings together pianists Fabio Witkowski, Gisele Witkowski, and Phillipe Raskin with the acclaimed Fine Arts Quartet for an evening of chamber music masterpieces. The program features Brahms’s Piano Quartet in C Minor and Piano Quintet, showcasing the richness, power, and lyricism of one of the Romantic era’s greatest composers. Free and open to the public. Scenic picnic grounds open two hours before the concert.

Traveller - The Chris Stapleton Experience is the brainchild of Alec Antobenedetto, The voice of Traveller. He also plays drums for many of the areas most popular bands including the Peacheaters (An Allman Brothers Band Experience), Confounded Bridge (Celebrating the Music of Led Zeppelin), Pieces of Eight, and many more. As Alec says "I just heard his voice and over the years it had become more than obvious I had to do this", so I called up some music friends and they all jumped in feet first. This is such a fun group to be around. We love this music and playing this music for people and seeing their reaction means everything".
