Pittsfield, 2 - 3 p.m.
Young writers are invited to join Library staff at a pop-up writing studio this summer. We will cover topics such as descriptive writing, character development, story arc, and more. We will also work through prompts and exercises to practice topics. No experience necessary. Open to ages 8–12.
Este verano, invitamos a jóvenes escritores a participar en un taller de escritura itinerante con el personal de la biblioteca. Abordaremos temas como la escritura descriptiva, el desarrollo de personajes, la estructura narrativa y mucho más. También trabajaremos con ejercicios y propuestas para practicar. No se requiere experiencia previa. Abierto a niños y jóvenes de 8 a 12 años.
Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult 18+ at all times.

PLANT A SEED FAMILY STORYTIME

Pittsfield, 6 - 7 p.m.
Join library staff for a summer reading themed family storytime. We will read books, learn through play, and do activities that explore the themes of nature, gardening and planting the seeds of change. Best for children ages 3-9, siblings welcome.

HOTCHKISS SUMMER PIANO PORTALS CONCERT SERIES

Connecticut, 7:30 p.m.
Award-winning pianists Leonel Morales and Leo de Maria present an evening of masterworks by Beethoven, Chopin, and Prokofiev.
