NORMAN ROCKWELL’S STOCKBRIDGE WALKING TOUR

$20; separate from Museum Admission

These tours do not take place at the Museum. Tour groups will meet on Main Street. Transportation to Main Street from the Museum is not provided.

Take a guided walking tour of downtown Stockbridge and discover how the town and its inhabitants both inspired Norman Rockwell and appeared in some of his most iconic works of art. Explore the history of this 1734 village–including its Mohican origins.

Stops will include Norman Rockwell’s home on South Street, his first studio on Main Street, the Old Corner House (site of the original Norman Rockwell Museum), Chief John Konkapot’s property, the Red Lion Inn, the former site of Alice’s Restaurant, and more!

STORYTIME WITH STAY & PLAY
Becket, 10:30 a.m. to noon

Becket Athenaeum hosts a storytime from 10:30 to 11 followed by an hour of stay and play with toys, games, puzzles, and snacks for the kids, along with coffee, tea, snacks, and time for connection for the caregivers. Stop by for either or both.

MEET THE TURTLES WITH BERKSHIRE COUNTY TURTLE RESCUE

Meet rescued turtles with wildlife rehabilitator Tracy and learn more about turtles in Berkshire County and how to care for pet turtles followed by a workshop to create a turtle-crossing yard signs. Come be in relation with a Fire Pit activation in the Indigenous Garden with André StrongBearHeart Gaines Jr., Tribal Historic Preservation Officer of the Nipmuc Nation and Founder of No Loose Braids, joined by the No Loose Braids team and members of multiple Eastern Woodland tribes. This gathering invites audiences to engage with Eastern Woodlands culture, land practices, and living traditions, offering a firsthand perspective on how Indigenous communities sustain relationships with the land through generations of ecological knowledge rooted in the Nipmuc way of life.
