CRAFTING CONVERSATIONS

FREE drop in workshop. Crafting Conversations will be held every Wednesday afternoon beginning September 2. Looking for creativity and connection? Join us weekly on Wednesday afternoons for Crafting Conversations. Bring your current project and work alongside others in a casual and friendly atmosphere focused on parallel creative play and light conversation.

BABY & TODDLER PLAYGROUP AND CAREGIVER CONNECTION
Becket, 10-11 a.m.
A casual drop-in group at the Becket Athenaeum where parents/caregivers can connect, share, and feel supported, alongside movement, stories, and play for babies and toddlers. Coffee and tea for adults, snacks for kids provided. RSVP Appreciated. In collaboration with the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement program, which is funded by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.

September 16: Berkshire Farm-to-Table Dinner Join Chef Susie Norris for evenings inspired by the harvest. Together we’ll prepare seasonal dishes from scratch, share a beautiful meal, and explore the ingredients, traditions, and techniques behind regional cuisines. Each class includes a culinary demonstration, hands-on cooking, a sit-down dinner, and recipes to take home. September 2 Menu:
Salade au Chevre, Coq au Vin Blanc with Tarragon, Harticorts Verde Almondine, Rustic Country Bread, Classic Tarte Tatin September 9 Menu:
Pan-Seared Scallops over Pumpkin Risotto, Roasted Tomatoes with Lentils & Rosemary, Spinach, Arugula & Parmigiano Salad, Artisan Italian Bread, and Pear and Almond Crostata September 16 Menu:
Barrington Harvest Salad with Fresh Chives and Dill, Local Artisan Cheese Course, Mint-Crusted Lamb Chops, Seasonal Vegetables, Whole Wheat Sourdough Rolls, and Warm Berkshire Apple Crisp with Local Cream Members: $60 per class

Field Notes remains on view through October 18.

The Tremaine Art Gallery is located at 11 Interlaken Road, Lakeville, CT, and is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM and Sunday from 12 PM to 4 PM. The gallery is closed on Mondays.
