Join Berkshire Athenaeum staff for a summer reading themed family storytime. We will read books, learn through play, and do activities that explore the themes of nature, gardening and planting the seeds of change. Best for children ages 3-9, siblings welcome.

The 23rd St. John’s Summer Free Noontime concert series continues with a performance by cellist Julian Müller and pianist Robert Logan. The program includes music by Nadia Boulanger, Robert Schumann, and Ludwig van Beethoven.

Cellist Julian Müller performs as soloist, chamber musician and orchestral player. Julian soloed with the Louisville Orchestra and was hailed as “...haunting and mesmerizing...” by USA Today giving world premiere performances of the ballet How They Fade, composed by him and art-pop band, YASSOU, on a commission from the Louisville Ballet Company. He has collaborated with Simone Dinnerstein, members of The Cleveland Orchestra, Sergei Babayan, among others. Julian performs with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, the Berkshire Symphony, Caroga Arts Ensemble, Williams Chamber Players and many other ensembles on the east coast. Julian is Artist Associate in Cello at Williams College. He is passionate about engaging communities through chamber music, recitals, interactive performance, and collaboration with composers.
