Candidate For School Committee - Pittsfield

A recently retired 36-year Spanish teacher at Wahconah Regional High School in Dalton, Angel Ramirez has served on the School Committee for 20 years. Ramirez serves on the state's Department of Education's MCAS Bias Review Committee and the Massachusetts Association of School Committee's Student Assessment committee. Ramirez, 59, has a bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts and a master's degree in education and administration from Cambridge College.
