I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Ms Taft. She was one of my favorite teachers as her classes were always very interesting. I still years later enjoyed exchanging thoughts on books we both read as she was a regular customer of mine at FYP. I miss her. My heart goes out to her family and friends.

While I never was a part of any of her classes, she was quite a memorable presence at the Mother On The Hill.

When I came to Drury as a young teacher, Peg was one of the friendliest and most welcoming people in my department. Peg was a great role model. She had an old fashioned attention to detail and dedication to her craft that was a model for people like me. No flash, she just did her job exquisitely well. Peg always had high expectations for herself and her students. She was always solid, dependable, and professional, a real pillar. Sometimes, it's easy to forget how valuable a person like Peggy was. So, I hope people remember her for the positive impact she had. What a sweet lady!

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Taff's passing. I had her as a teacher my senior year at Drury (Class of '71). She was tough, but fair and to this day I always consider her my favorite high school teacher. May she rest in peace.
