Marie 'DoDo' Delisle, 89

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Marie Viola (Cicchetti) "DoDo" Delisle, 89, of North Adams died on Monday, October 8, 2019, at Williamstown Commons surrounded by family.

She was born in North Adams on May 17, 1930 a daughter of the late Anthony N. & Mary Celia (Gigliotti) Cicchetti. Marie attended schools in North Adams and at the Venerini Sisters Academy in Worcester. She was employed for several years at Sprague Electric Company and Widen Tannery.

She was a devoted mother and homemaker and an avid bingo and card player. She enjoyed being around her family and friends and was always the hit of the party with her sassy, spit fire attitude. Marie was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church.

Marie leaves her four daughters, Tina Senecal of North Adams, Michelle Delisle of Adams, Laurie Delisle of Adams and Sheila Delisle of North Adams. She also leaves three grandchildren; her sister, Carolyn Moulton of North Adams; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank everyone who was involved in her care, North Adams and Williamstown Commons, BMC doctors and nurses, home healthcare providers and all her friends who watched out for her on Ashland Street.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Marie Delisle will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Calling hours will be on Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home- CENTRAL Chapel 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA 01247. So Sorry for the kids of your Sweet and Sassy Mom. Whenever I saw her she was smiling and having fun. What a lady she was and Spit fire fits her perfectly. She will be fondly remembered but sadly missed. God Bless her and her daughter's. May you remember the good times and know she still loves all of you from heaven. RIP Tina's Mom, I will always remember you. My condolences to Tina, Michelle, Laurie and Shelia, Derek and the rest of the family.
