Anthony L. "Tony" Lavigne, 54

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Anthony L. Lavigne, 54, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 after bravely battling cancer for 3 months. Anthony, known as Tony, was born in North Adams, MA on September 20, 1966 and graduated from Drury High School. He went on to work at Berkmatics, K & M Motors as an auto detailer and more recently for many years up until his death, at Cascade School Supplies as a warehouse worker.

Tony was a quiet man who had a most caring and compassionate heart. If you were sad he'd find a way to cheer you up. If you needed help, he'd be there to pitch in. Football was his favorite sport. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and collected many of their items. He was especially proud of his 1970 Boston Patriots signed football, passed down to him from his Great Uncle Edward “Soapy” Trisorio.

Tony is survived by his loving Aunt Linda Rossi and Uncle Steven Kavee of Briarcliff Manor and cousin Susanna Kavee of Boston, MA, Aunt Marianne (Rosse) Schiefer and cousin Sara Timcak of Stevens Point, WI, his mother Joyce Klein and half-siblings Diana Saylor, Thomas Payne and Joyce Stafford in Kentucky. He is predeceased by his father Ralph L. Lavigne, paternal Grandmother Antoinette Rosse, Grandfather Theodore Rosse, Great Aunt Jenny Petrovice, Great Uncles Michael Trisorio and Edward “Soapy” Trisorio, and Great Cousin Antoinette Caccavo.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 8 at 2:00 PM in Southview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Anthony's name to Pop Cares, PO Box 482, Williamstown, MA 01267 - popcares.org. To add to the Book of Memories, please visit www.flynndagnolifuneralhomes.com

I want to send my sympathy, hugs and prayers to the family on Tony's dad side that took care of him, loved him and was with him during passing of his grandmother and father! And through this time, I'm so glad he had family to help him through the last several months. Thank you for being there for him! May God bless!!!!!

My half brother separated from us at age 2, many years of worry and tears, got to see you before I graduated high school, spent time at Disney World, little hyper kid at that time, but we never got to be together since then, but did recently over passed several years talking on phone, and sharing my life with you and photos and about the Lord, sorry you are gone at such a young age, but I believe you knew the Lord and we will spend eternity together never separated again. Prayers for all who will miss him!!!

Tony was my younger brother we had the same mom but different fathers so that kept us apart all our lives but maybe the first two and maybe part of a year as we were teenagers.it’s heartbreaking to hear he has passed away,I was always trying to see if one day we could meet, now that has passed ....I’m so sad we never were able to see each other .me and my sister sent him a throwaway camera so he could send us pics of himself just last year so we could at least see what he looked like after all these years and we sent him pics of us and our children.I’m lost for words it’s so sad I just can’t get past it .I love you Tony we will meet again God bless his family on the other side Linda thank you for taking care of Tony I’m so sorry for your loss too and God bless to all of you

It is with great sadness to hear about Tony's passing. He spent many times at camp with us in his younger years. Tony would always stop and chat when I would see him working at KM Motors. May your memories comfort you in the days ahead. Rest in Peace Tony
