To Richard's Family
I offer my deepest condolences at this sad time.
As a young boy, I remember Richard in my father's diner with his friends from Renfrew and Zylonite. He was a fun-loving and genuine individual with a gregarious nature, a great laugh and spirit. He was a good guy. His passing diminishes me. He will not be forgotten.

Lorraine, Dick. Mark and to the whole family.
I can’t begin to tell you how my heart hurts over hearing of Richards passing. The Love not only he showed to me and my kids but all of you showed, will be a memory I will always cherish.
Richard shaped part of who I am today with his wisdom and life lessons he taught me.
We have lost a legend. I will never forget his stories from “Chief Reid” to “poor powh” and so many great stories in between.
You rest easy Dick, you deserve that and so much more.
